Fall Youth Soccer, Lacrosse Registration Opens

ALPHARETTA, GA -- The fall sports season is just around the corner and now is the time to register for those programs.

The Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department kicked off registration July 5 for the 2016 Fall Youth Soccer and Lacrosse leagues for boys and girls.

Priority registration started Tuesday for city residents as well as returning Milton residents. Registration will open July 12 to all city of Milton residents and on July 19, registration will open to all other residents.

Ages and fees vary for each program, and are listed in the Spring/Summer Leisure Guide.

There are multiple ways are available for families to register, including online or by downloading an activity registration form. Once the form is filled out, residents can scan, email, fax or drop-off the item with payment to any Alpharetta recreation facility.

Volunteer coaching opportunities may also be available for qualified adults. With a focus on safety, all selected coaches must successfully pass a background check and be screened to ensure proper sports knowledge.

• Alpharetta Youth Softball Association (fall softball, girls, age 4-18)
• Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association (fall baseball, boys/girls, age 4-18)
• North Atlanta Football League (tackle, flag football, cheerleading, grades K-8)
