Field Set For Milton City Council Races

In total, seven candidates will be vying for three seats on the Milton City Council, and mayor, that will be on the Nov. 2 ballot.

MILTON, GA — The field of candidates is now set for the four open seats on the Milton City Council for this year's general elections. In total, seven candidates will be vying for four seats that will be on the Nov. 2 ballot.

On Nov. 2, Milton voters will elect a mayor and council members for District 1/Post 1, District 2/Post 1, and District 3/Post 1. City of Milton elections are non-partisan and conducted by the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections. Milton's city clerk serves as the qualifying officer.

Candidates can qualify for only one office.

The last day for Milton citizens to register to vote in the upcoming General Election is Monday, Oct. 4. Early voting begins on Tuesday, Oct. 12, and the last day to submit an absentee ballot application is Friday, Oct. 22. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 2.
