Fulton County Coronavirus Update: 3,757 Cases, 172 Deaths

There are a total of 3,757 confirmed coronavirus cases in Fulton County as of Tuesday, according to the Fulton County Department of Health.

FULTON COUNTY, GA – There are a total of 3,757 confirmed coronavirus cases in Fulton County as of Tuesday, according to the Fulton County Department of Health.

There have been a total of 172 coronavirus-related deaths in the county as of Tuesday, with 715 hospitalizations. According to the data, there are approximately 342 cases per every 100,000 people in the county.

The Georgia Department of Community Health has also released a report showing the number of COVID-19 cases in nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the county. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the new coronavirus.

The reported cases at Fulton County nursing homes are as follows:

As of Tuesday, there have been 38,624 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 7,002 hospitalized patients and 1,649 deaths in the state, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Most of the top 10 counties with the highest number of coronavirus cases and deaths are in the metro Atlanta area, with Fulton County still first for cases and deaths. Dougherty County has 1,664cases, but has the second-highest number of deaths at 135.

According to the Johns Hopkins University of Medicine, there have been more than 1,510,000 confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States, with more than 90,400 deaths. More than 283,000 have recovered in the U.S. Worldwide, there are more than 4.8 million cases and 319,000 deaths.
