Fulton School Board Members To Host Community Meetings

Each member of the Fulton County School Board will soon meet with members of the community in an effort to continue open dialogue with their constituents.

The monthly sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.

Board members have set the following meeting dates for December 2014:

• Linda Schultz, District 1
  Dec. 17, 9:30 a.m.
  Hembree Springs Elementary School (815 Hembree Road, Roswell)
• Katie Reeves, District 2
  Dec. 16, 9:30 a.m.
  Creek View Elementary School (3995 Webb Bridge Road, Alpharetta)
• Gail Dean, District 3
  No meeting scheduled for December
• Linda Bryant, District 4
  No meeting scheduled for December
• Linda McCain, District 5
  No meeting scheduled for December
• Catherine Maddox, District 6
  Meeting cancelled for December
• Julia Bernath, District 7
  Dec. 11, 9:30 a.m.
  Dunwoody Springs Elementary School (8100 Roberts Drive, Sandy Springs)

Fulton County School Board members have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few school boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.
