Fulton School System Makes Decision on After-School Activities

Scattered and isolated snow flurries will continue to fall across Alpharetta, Milton and north Fulton County on Tuesday.

Alpharetta-Milton, GA -- “Out of an abundance of caution,” the Fulton County School System has cancelled all after-school activities slated to take place Tuesday evening.

The decision applies to events, activities and athletics occurring after 6 p.m. Feb. 9, the system said.

The National Weather Service is calling for scattered and isolated snow showers to continue through Tuesday evening, and residents should expect a total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch, the agency said in its forecast for the Alpharetta and Milton areas.

Lows are expected to bottom out to around 22 degrees tonight.
