ORIIGNAL STORYA gas leak has forced the city of Alpharetta to close a segment of Upper Hembree Road.

The road is closed between S.R. 9 and Harris Road. While limited access is being coordinated for businesses within the area, no thru traffic is permitted, the city noted.The utility provider has been notified, and repairs crews are in route. There is no current estimate for when the road will be reopened.
