Halloween Celebrations Scheduled At Avalon

The mixed-use development in Avalon has events on Oct. 28 and Oct. 31 that cater to youngsters as well as adults.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- It's time to pull out those costume and get ready for the return of Halloween at Avalon, which is inviting the community to celebrate with tricks and treats on Saturday, Oct. 28. The main events, Trick or Treating and Trick or Drink, dare guests of all ages to don their most frightening frocks and enjoy plenty of “boos” throughout the day.

The festivities begin with Trick or Treating for the mini witches and wizards at 10 a.m. Kids are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite characters and start the event by picking up a Trick or Treating map showing the way to participating retailers handing out candy and treats.

Each location will also be denoted with a window decal to ensure no sweet treats are missed. After all of the candy has been collected, be sure to drop off the completed map with Concierge to be entered to win an Avalon family fun prize package (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. “Halloween at Avalon is a one-of-a-kind, all ages ghastly bash and we’re proud to host the most spooktacular celebration in Alpharetta,” said Carla Cox, director of marketing at Avalon. “Each event attracts ghouls and gals from across North Fulton to celebrate with their friends and family, and we anticipate yet another fang-tastic party this year.”

As the Halloween sun sets, join Avalon for an adult-only moonlit supernatural celebration filled with tricks, treats and scary good libations. Trick or Drink in The Plaza is set for 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 and guests are invited to come dressed in their best costume to dance the night away to a live DJ while sipping on Halloween-inspired specialty cocktails.
