Halyard Health General Counsel Named Attorney Of The Year

Halyard Health Senior Vice President and General Counsel John Wesley was selected as the individual in-house Attorney of the Year for Mergers and Acquisitions by the International Law Office (ILO) and the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC).

According to the ILO, the Global Counsel Awards recognize lawyers for “demonstrable achievements across the full spectrum of in-house responsibility, not simply those who have acted on high-profile transactions.”

The ILO and ACC select individual and team winners in nine categories. Wesley was among six finalists in the M&A category. More than 4,000 individual nominations were received for this year’s awards.

The winners were announced June 11 at a gala dinner and ceremony in New York.
