Hand-Rolled Ice Cream Shop Coming To Avalon

ALPHARETTA, GA -- Just months after the debut of Boulevard East, Avalon in Alpharetta has no plans to slow down the train of new restaurants and shops coming to a storefront near you.

Three new additions will soon join the popular mixed-use development: Sundance, Club Pilates and Kremo will open in the community this year.

Club Pilates, a California-based line of boutique Reformer Pilates studios, is opening Club Pilates Avalon this summer. This is the fifth Club Pilates location in Atlanta and the second in Alpharetta. In addition to modern, method-based Pilates classes, Club Pilates offers options to experience the latest workout trends like TRX and barre.

Famed actor, director and visionary of independent filmmaking Robert Redford founded Sundance Catalog in 1989 to promote the works of artists and craftspeople from across the country and around the world.

From a small operation run out of the attic of the old Sundance Village firehouse, Sundance has grown to become one of America’s preeminent lifestyle brands offering a thoughtful mix of premium-quality women’s and men’s apparel and footwear, jewelry, accessories, art and home décor. Sundance will open at Avalon in October, marking its first location in Georgia.

Kremo Ice Cream, which also has a location in Duluth, offers made-to-order, hand-rolled ice cream crafted with locally-sourced sweet cream and real fruit flavors. Kremo Avalon will open this summer, featuring flavors from cookies and cream to fruity strawberry and passionfruit to matcha green tea and coffee.
