Here's What's Happening In Alpharetta This Weekend

ALPHARETTA, GA — Amid storm threats Saturday, events that put music, food and football at the forefront will be hosted in Alpharetta.

Friday's Alpharetta Moonlight Market and the On The Green Alpharetta Concert Series were set to kick off the weekend's festivities.

Then, food lovers can visit the Downtown Alpharetta Farmers Market from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at 2 Park Plaza.

Bee Kind Blooms and Jamaican Fruit Cakery are among the featured vendors hosted at the event, which is held each Saturday. The last day for the market will be Nov. 14.

The Lionheart School plans to host Grilling and Gridiron, a yearly tailgating event that marries the love of football with the love of food and fellowship.

Grilling and Gridiron will be held at noon Saturday at 225 Roswell St.

It will include a $2,600 grill giveaway due to a donation from BBQ Guys ATL. Raffle tickets are $25.

Saturday's expected downpour has caused Home by Dark's Songwriters at Sundown to relocate to Union Hill Park, 1590 Little Pine Trail. The event will be held from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Nathan Angelo and Jesse Terry will headline the free concert series, according to organizers. The series is set to return on Oct. 3.
