'Honey, I Shrunk The Lawn' Workshop Set For April 13
The city of Alpharetta's free workshop will give residents tips on how to improve their lawns without breaking one's budget.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- With spring having arrived in Alpharetta, the city will host a workshop designed to arm you with all the tools you need to properly care for your lawn.

The city, along with the Alpharetta Natural Resources Commission, will host its first-ever Honey, I Shrunk the Lawn workshop from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13.
This free class, conducted by city staff, will cover a brief history of lawns and turf maintenance, design strategies for reducing turf and maintenance costs and labor.

You can register the class, which will be held at the Alpharetta Public Works Department, by calling (678) 297-6200.
The department is located at 1790 Hembree Road in Alpharetta.
