Input Meeting On Aug. 30 For Waggy World Dog Park

The city of Alpharetta wants your feedback as part of its master planning process for Wills Park.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Wills Park in Alpharetta is undergoing a master planning process, and a slew of improvements and enhancements to the facility are being discussed with residents in the city.

As part of this process, City Councilman Jason Binder, liaison to Alpharetta's Recreation, Parks & Cultural Services Department, will host an input meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 to discuss the master planning timeline and process. The meeting will also be designed to ensure residents that the dog park will remain at Wills Park, and it will also be improved and possibly expanded.

"During the master planning process the overall park design is created by landscape architects with the community’s input," Binder said. "The specific features of each element of the park will be created with the direct input of those who use them most. I look forward to developing the improvements to Waggy World with the members of our community who use this treasured feature of Wills Park."
