IRS Wants Back Taxes from Job Woman Never Held
The following information was supplied by the Milton police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Milton woman is being asked by the IRS to pay back taxes, but she never worked for the Norcross company where the agency said she worked in 2011.
The Deerfield Parkway resident said she received a letter from the IRS on May 11 stating she owed $1,611 in taxes from 2011. The IRS said she owed the taxes on the $9,128 she earned at SelecSource Staffing. But she never worked for that company.
The victim reported the identity fraud to Milton police, who advised her to check her credit report regularly.

Once he responded to the calls, he learned someone had stolen his identity to open the account and ran up $759 in bills. The Comcast representative told the victim if he supplied them with a police report the account could be marked as fraudulent.
