Jackson Healthcare $100M Expansion Unveils 8-Stories, Amenities
The Jackson Healthcare expansion in Alpharetta will accommodate 1,400 new associates.
ALPHARETTA, GA -- Jackson Healthcare, a family of highly-specialized healthcare staffing, search and technology companies, unveiled today a $100 million campus expansion in Alpharetta. The new 267,000 square-foot office tower and 39,000 square-foot associate amenities center are designed to accommodate 1,400 new associates.
The company said the modern work environment will enable associates to excel in serving customers, benefit from amenities that foster well-being and development, and engage in service and giving opportunities in the community.
The 3-story amenities building, inspired by the Roman Colosseum, houses a state-of-the-art fitness and wellness center. Open seven days a week, the center features an indoor pool, two levels of cardio and strength equipment, in-person and virtual fitness classes, a spray-tanning studio, massage and chiropractic services, and forthcoming offerings that will include a hair salon with blow dry bar and nail services. Within the space, there also are two restaurants—one of which is a full-service, sit-down environment—that offer healthy, locally-sourced, company-subsidized breakfast and lunch options every weekday, as well as a coffee and smoothie bar.
On Jackson Healthcare’s newly expanded campus, the amenities building is the centerpiece of an Italian piazza, complete with fountains and a 1,385-car parking deck designed to resemble the buildings that line the Piazza del Campo in Siena. The company opened the parking deck in June 2018.
“Every inch of our expanded campus was designed with our associates in mind,” Shane Jackson, president of Jackson Healthcare, said in a release the morning of the ribbon cutting. “From the innovative work and collaboration areas, to new technologies and state-of the-art amenities, our campus was purposefully created to foster communication and collaboration, deepen connection and belonging, and enhance well-being in order to inspire excellence in all that we do.”
In addition to the new structures, the existing buildings on the company’s corporate campus are also undergoing significant renovations. The 5-story office tower will feature new collaboration and workspaces, updates to the company’s third on-campus dining facility, an expansion to its on-site medical clinic and more. It is slated to be complete in the summer of 2019.
The company said another building on campus will be home to Jackson Healthcare’s new childcare and development center, AlleGro. Opening this fall, this space will provide high-quality childcare and early education programs, and will be available exclusively to Jackson Healthcare associates. The company also has built LoveLifts Village, a co-working and dedicated office space for non-profit organizations.
