Kohl's Recognizes Alpharetta Students

They now qualify for a chance to win a $1,000 regional scholarship that will be awarded in July.

The Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program on Wednesday recognized 69 students from Georgia, including some from Alpharetta, who have made a positive impact in their communities through volunteerism.

Tiger Greene, 15; Cody Jackson, 10; and Emma Svitil, 12, from Alpharetta were among the students who received a $50 gift card, a certificate and the chance to qualify for a $1,000 regional scholarship that will be awarded in July.

Other North Fulton winners included:

  • Alyssa Howard, 13, Roswell
  • Cameron Koporc, 9, Roswell
  • Catherine Peoples, 10, Roswell
  • Malcolm Barnard, 17, Johns Creek
From the nearly 200 regional winners that Kohl's plans to announce in July, 10 national winners will receive $10,000 each in scholarships. Additionally, Kohl’s will donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on each national winner’s behalf.
