ALPHARETTA, GA -- Restaurateur Louis Soon who is behind South Main Kitchen and Butcher & Brew has opened his third restaurant in downtown Alpharetta. Lapeer Seafood Market features fresh-made pastas and in-season fresh fish and seafood from the East Coast, Gulf, Alabama and Louisiana. Currently it is open for dinner only, lunch and weekend brunch will soon follow.

Drawing inspiration from relaxed beach towns along the East Coast—like surfer favorite Montauk—Lapeer is from Co-owner Louis Soon and Culinary Director Andy Long of Maven Restaurant Group, the team behind acclaimed Alpharetta spots South Main Kitchen and Butcher & Brew, the restaurant's website said.

Lapeer features a hyper-seasonal seafood menu of dayboat fish, including East Coast and Gulf oysters, wild-caught fish and shrimp from along the Gulf of Mexico, crab meat from Bayou la Batre and tuna from Louisiana. Produce is sourced directly from farms in Georgia, such as Levity Farms, Tucker Farms, AJ Stonehaven Farms, Martin’s Garden, Crystal Organics, Ashland Farms and Grant Wallace Farm.
