Lecoma Trace Closed For Green Space Construction
The closure is estimated to last until June or July, officials say.

MILTON, GA — A section of Lecoma Trace closed yesterday for an extended period of time during construction of The Green, a private green space and park development, according to the City of Milton. The development is directly across the street from City Hall on Heritage Walk.
The road is between Crabapple Road and Heritage Walk. Residents going to the Crabapple Market will still be able to park off Crabapple Road from Lecoma Trace and Itaska Walk.
City officials released the map of the closure area:

"It is our understanding that the closure could extend to June or July. While we recognize that road closures can be an inconvenience, we are excited that this project will bring additional greenspace to the Crabapple area," the press release says.
City Hall and adjacent neighborhoods will be accessible via Itaska Walk off of Crabapple Road, and Heritage Walk off of Birmingham Highway, the release says.
