ALPHARETTA, GA -- Lent continues through Thursday, April 18 this year. So it's time to start marking calendars for the fish fries sure to be held across Alpharetta during the Lenten season.

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 535 Rucker Road in Alpharetta, is hosting fish frys from 5:30-7:30 p.m. every Friday through Lent in the Parrish Hall. The menu includes baked or fried fish, penne pasta in marinara, fries, green beans, coleslaw and desserts from Alpine Bakery. Back by popular demand is fish tacos. The event is hosted by the Knights of Columbus.
