Local Start-Up Supports the Arts

Prestige Auto Polishing & Protection sponsors Phantom of the Opera VIP cast party and Alpharetta Symphony Orchestra's benefit concert

They haven’t even opened their doors yet, but Prestige Auto Polishing & Protections is already establishing community roots. This week they sponsored Encore Atlanta’s VIP cast party for Phantom of the Opera, playing at the Fox Theatre through March 5. And they will be a sponsor for next month’s Alpharetta Symphony Orchestra’s benefit concert Sounds of a Mediterranean Spring. “The arts beautify our lives, and Prestige Auto Polishing and Protection is all about beautifying your car” explains owner Chris Luman. ”So I feel like in a way what we do is an art itself, using car surfaces in place of a canvas or stage. And we all need to support each other”.

Luman, age 22, is a lifelong resident of Alpharetta/Milton. “It’s a great community” said Luman, “I grew up here, and I always knew when I started my own business I would want it to be part of this community”.

Prestige Auto Polishing & Protection will be holding its grand opening celebration March 11-12, and it promises to be grand event indeed. They will have more than $2000 in door prizes, demonstration, barbecue, fireworks, and more. “We hope everyone will come out for the event” says Luman, “the more the merrier. And there will be something for everyone – car-lover or not”.
