Local Student Signs To Play Tennis At Auburn University
Anders Ford Fry signed to play Division One Collegiate Tennis for Bobby Reynolds at Auburn University

From Legacy Community Academy: On Wednesday, May 9, Anders Ford Fry signed to play Division One Collegiate Tennis for Bobby Reynolds at Auburn University! The senior at Legacy Community Academy in Alpharetta is the son of Ford and Stacy Fry of Roswell. The non-traditional schedule at Legacy Community Academy helped Anders to achieve his academic goals while pursuing his tennis career.
Anders developed a love for tennis at age 8 when he began playing with his dad. At age 10 he decided to pursue a life of tennis. He trained 5 hours a day with Heath Waters and Ben Simon at Strive Tennis Academy, refining his overall technique. When Anders was 13 he began training at Universal Tennis Academy where Grant Patrick, Raiain Luchici and David Drew were instrumental in taking him to the next level. During his junior career he was fortunate to win many singles and doubles tournaments.
Now at age 18, the accolades that Anders has received for his hard work are impressive. He is nationally ranked, having won over 20 tournaments in his career and finishing in the top 10 in Georgia for five years straight. In 2016 and 2017 Anders was a part of the USTA National Team Tennis Championships. Anders won two national titles on his Junior Tennis team in 2017 and 2018, along with two southern
titles in both of those years. Anders looks forward to playing for Auburn University in the fall!
