Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with two employees who said a man came into the store, brandished a firearm and demanded they turn over everything in the safe, according to an incident report released by the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.
The man took the money from the safe and fled the scene northbound in a grey Ford Fusion.

One employee who was in the back of the fast food joint at the time of the incident told police he looked at the camera system and saw the alleged crime in action. At that point, he called 911 and provided dispatchers with information while the alleged hold up was in process, the report states.
Police were able to track down the vehicle on Canton Street near Mayfield Road in Milton and a traffic stop was conducted on the car, with the help of officers in the neighboring city.
One of the employees inside the restaurant during the incident was taken to the scene of the traffic stop and positively identified Williams as the alleged suspect, the report adds.
During a search of the Fusion, police were able to unearth $669 stuffed inside a glove box and a firearm that appeared to be a black semi-automatic gun -- but turned out to be a pellet gun -- under the driver's seat.
Also recovered from the car was a trash bag full of folded clothing, which contained a Pittsburgh Steelers football jersey and a camouflage bandanna.
Jail records show Williams was booked into the Fulton facility on Aug. 28 where he remains.
