Man Found Guilty in Killing Milton Teenager Over Necklace
A Fulton County jury convicted Richard Davidson, 22, of Roswell of murder in the killing of Milton resident Christopher Walker.

One of three men charged in the killing of a Milton teenager over a gold chain was found guilty this week.
A Fulton County jury convicted Richard Bernard Davidson, 22, of Roswell in the murder of Christopher Walker, 19, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The AJC reports Davidson will be sentenced next week.
On March 12, 2013, Walker was shot dead in the driveway of his Silhouette Court home in Milton. According to police investigation, Davidson and two alleged accomplices indicted as co-defendants — Roswell resident Michael Grant, 24 and Matthew Goins, 21, of Alpharetta — spotted Walker at an Alpharetta Taco Bell wearing a gold chain shortly before the shooting.

According to the indictment, the three defendants allegedly followed Walker, an Alpharetta High School graduate, to his Milton home.
As the victim exited his car, Davidson allegedly approached the victim and attempted to snatch his gold chain. A struggle ensued and shots were fired.

Walker was shot in the head and later died at North Fulton Hospital. Surveillance video and Crime Stoppers tips led to the identification and arrests of the suspects.
Trial is still pending against Grant and Goins, the district attorney’s office said.
