Man Wearing 'Call Of Duty' Beanie Robs Bank: Cops

The robbery was reported Wednesday afternoon at SunTrust Bank on North Point Parkway in Alpharetta.

ALPHARETTA, GA — The Alpharetta Police Department is investigating a bank robbery reported Wednesday afternoon near North Point Mall. A man entered SunTrust Bank at 6499 North Point Parkway around 4:05 p.m. Jan. 3 and held up the establishment, the agency said on its Facebook page.

According to an incident report released by the department, the male approached the teller counter and passed the employee a note that read, "I want all your money. I have a gun, I will not harm you if you give me all your money."

After handing the note back to the man, she told police the man spoke in a low whisper, stating phrases such as "Don't give me bait," "Don't pull the alarm, "Give me the reserve too" and "You have 15 seconds." The teller gave the man $1,605 in cash and he left the bank.

Police say the man appears to be a black male in his late 30's or early 40's, between 5'6'' and 5'9'' tall with a medium build and gray facial hair. He also was wearing "thick, tortoise shell-framed prescription style glasses" and a gray beanie hat with the phrase "Call of Duty" embroidered along the front, the agency added.

He was also sporting a long-sleeved, baseball-style shirt with grey sleeves and maroon-colored torso fabric, and gray or black pants. The teller also said the man was carrying a black zippered bag that looks similar to one used to hold pencils, the incident report states.

Another employee told police he saw the male subject leave the bank and run towards Total Wine, which is to the north of the bank.
