The state competition was held May 1 in Jonesboro.
Here are the state results: Erica Pease’s second grade class and Austin Irwin placed in the Superior category; students Hallie Christensen, Atharva Waykar and David Nuthakki placed in the Merit category.

Each of the students — individually or in groups — produced a short video using Microsoft Photo Story.
The school said it’s proud of the students’ work and they are looking forward to next year’s new projects.
