Alpharetta, GA -- If you’re reading this, you most likely won’t make it to New Orleans to celebrate Fat Tuesday this year.

So, why not head on over to Avalon, as the mixed-use development will bring the Big Easy’s annual celebration to Alpharetta. The festivities involve transforming Avalon Boulevard into Bourbon Street for one night only, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9.

Residents are invited to sample Cajun creations and colorful cocktails from Avalon’s famed restaurants and retailers. A special pub crawl map will guide your way, and crawlers who get a stamp at every stop on the map can enter a raffle at Concierge, who will also be providing beads, masks and other festive gear for the event.
