McKesson Employees Walk and Roll for Charity

The Corporate Citizenship division of McKesson Corporation hosted a “Walk and Roll” event Friday, May 24 for employees and their families at the company’s Windward Parkway office.

Benefiting Giving Comfort (www.givingcomfort.org), a program of the McKesson Foundation, which provides cancer patients with needed comfort items during treatment – the event included music, family entertainment (face painting, bouncy house), a luncheon for donors, and its feature event – a 3-mile walk.

Nearly 600 McKesson employees participated in the walk, according to a news release from the company, and more than $12,000 was raised through the donations collected by McKesson employees for this cause.
