Milton Council Members Discuss Highway 9 Redevelopment Plans

We had an excellent meeting with Milton City Council Members Peyton Jamison and Laura Bentley at the Orchards at Windward clubhouse tonight.

Attending were residents representing Park at Windward, Centennial Village, Regency at Windward Square, Haywood Commons, and Orchards at Windward. The Council members gave us a briefing on how projects like the ones planned by Orkin and Associates Investments across the street from our subdivisions go through the process of being approved for construction.

We had a very spirited question and answer period. We appreciate the willingness of the Council Members to deal with tough questions and to be candid in their answers. Afterwards, we walked out to the sidewalk on Highway 9 so we could all see just how massive each of the Orkin developments are.
