Milton Co-Ed Cheer Team Wins State Championship
It was the 25th anniversary celebration for the GHSA Cheerleading State Championships.

From Milton HS:The Milton High School co-ed cheerleaders won the 2017-18 Georgia High School Association all-classification Co-Ed State Championship Friday November 10 at the Columbus Civic Center. It was the 25th anniversary celebration for the GHSA Cheerleading State Championships.
Milton, with 105 points, edged runner-up Forsyth Central by one point. East Coweta was third with 100.33 points, followed by Woodland-Cartersville with 99 points. Apalachee and Peachtree Ridge rounded out the top six.
The Eagles, coached by Missy and Alex Marsh, completed a strong and clean performance to capture the title in a highly competitive field. This was the first State Championship for Milton High School in competition cheerleading.
