Milton Earth Day Festival Returns April 18

The festival will be held at Friendship Community Park in Crabapple.

Milton residents will soon be able to celebrate our planet and the many fun things that can be done to keep it thriving.

On Saturday, April 18, the city of Milton and Milton Grows Green will present the 2015 Milton Earth Day Festival.

Now in its sixth year, the Festival is shaping up to be the best ever!

Held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Crabapple at Friendship Community Park, this year’s festival features food, family friendly entertainment, environmental vendors and much more. Parking is available at Crabapple First Baptist Church and Crabapple Crossing Elementary.

Thanks to returning presenting sponsor Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Milton Grows Green is able to bring a wide variety of activities educational exhibits and environmentally friendly products and services to the community, including:

Food vendors include: Happy Belly, Tex’s Tacos, Olde Blind Dog, Sno-Bayou, Shane’s Rib Shack and King of Pops. Some of the children’s activities include rock wall, human hamster balls, crafts, Barnyard Animals, an animal show from Chattahoochee Nature Center and Party Animals and an appearance from the Bag Monster.

The event will also include more than 55 booths of area businesses featuring environmental activities and unique products and services. Both North Fulton School of Music and the Chuck Nation Band will offer music and entertainment.

Friendship Community park is at 12785 Birmingham Highway on Milton.
