Milton Fire, Equestrian Committee To Hold Open House May 18
The Milton Fire-Rescue Department and the Milton Equestrian Committee are holding an open house May 18 at Fire Station 43.

MILTON, GA — If you're a horse lover, then join the Milton Fire-Rescue Department and Milton Equestrian Committee, Saturday, May 18, at Fire Station 43 (750 Hickory Flat Road) for a day of all things horses.
The open house is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with fire station tours, equestrian vendors, food and more. At 11 a.m, there will be a demonstration from the Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue unit. This is a great opportunity to meet other Milton horse lovers, as well as get to know the city's firefighters, the city said in a release. Afterward, check out the trails at Birmingham Park, located directly behind the fire station.
"We're so excited for the opportunity to partner with the Fire Department to showcase all of the equestrian offerings the City of Milton has," Julie Shannon of the Milton Equestrian Committee said in a release. "This event is not only for horse owners and riders, but all horse lovers and members of the local community."
