Milton Foundation Rolls Out New Ways to Support First Responders

Milton, GA – First responders are here for us 24/7/365 and let’s face it they can all use a little love right now. Like most people, you probably want to show your support to our police officers and firefighters but really don’t know where to start.

If you are a regular reader and have followed our series of articles about Milton First Responders Foundation, you already know they are a 501(c)(3) organization doing some great work here in Milton to support our police officers and firefighters. “Supporting those who serve!” is what this group is all about, with 100% of the funds raised staying right here in Milton.

MFRF has several simple new opportunities for you to help through their “give back” programs: Shopping Boss, Amazon Smile and Honey Baked Hams.

The ShoppingBoss program rewards participants with an average of 6% cash back every day for 1 year at over 200 national brand merchants such as Delta, Home Depot, Lowes, Old Navy, and Longhorn Steakhouse. As a thank you for a small $20.00 donation to MFRF, you will receive a ShoppingBoss activation code and 100% of the cash back is yours to keep. With nationwide merchants, you do not have to live in Milton to take advantage of this offer. Because it's a phone app, there’s no extra card to carry and so you can also give a Shopping Boss Membership to friends and family outside the Milton area.

Amazon Smile is a program where shoppers can register Milton First Responders Foundation (Fund) as their charity of choice and then use the link here to shop as usual. Every time you sign in using that link, MFRF will receive a donation directly from Amazon for your purchase. The more you shop, the more they donate. This is a FREE program to the user that directly benefits MFRF.

Honey Baked Hams is a delicious way to support MFRF! Using the special MFRF Fundraising Link, shoppers simply purchase Honey Baked Ham Gift Cards for themselves or as gifts for friends and family anywhere in the country and MFRF will receive 20% of every purchase. Starting at just $10, these make great gifts for teachers, bus drivers, Sunday School teachers, letter carriers, hairdressers or almost anyone. The gift cards can be used at any Honey Baked Ham Store or on-line and can be used on anything in the store.

Of course, you can also support Milton First Responders with direct donations, as a volunteer or participating in one of their special events such as the Annual MFRF Golf Invitational to be held in October at Alpharetta Athletic Club - East Course.
