Milton Literary Festival Returns In November
The two-day event will feature activities for the whole family, including panel discussions, workshops and story times for kids.

MILTON, GA -- Bookworms and budding authors should go ahead and mark their calendars for this year's Milton Literary Festival.
The second-annual event, set for Nov. 11-12, will include activities and events for the whole family of readers, writers and aspiring authors.
The festival kicks off the evening of Friday, Nov. 11 with "Words and Wine" at Wilbur & Rudy's Farmtable. The event will be hosted by best-selling author Cassandra King, widow of the late Pat Conroy, and poet and author Ellen Malphrus. The festival is free to the public, and wine tasting will be $15.

On Saturday, Nov. 12, the event will swing into full gear as best-selling author Lynn Cullen opens the festival as the keynote speaker. During the day, over 27 authors will be leading several events:
- Panel discussions on fiction, non-fiction and suspense writings
- Workshops on writing for teens, writing for children, traditional versus self-publishing and how to write your memoir
- A Box Lunch with the Chef seminar hosted by three best-selling cookbook authors
- Activities for children featuring story time with artist illustration
- A special Book Club Hookup where book clubs and authors will have the opportunity to get to know each other
Festival events on Saturday will be held at the Alpharetta Municipal Center and at the Milton Library. Check out the event website for details about the festival.
