Milton Man's Patio Garden Ends With Pot Arrest
The following arrest information was supplied by the Milton police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Milton man's patio gardening efforts probably didn't go as he planned as police arrested and cited him on April 16 for allegedly possessing and manufacturing marijuana.
The victim's ex-wife called Milton police when her daughter told her there were pot plants growing on the home's back patio. The juvenile said she was curious about the plants and asked her father what they were and he said "pot." His ex-wife was told the same thing when she asked.
A Milton police officer heard a different story when he asked, as the suspect said he found seeds in a box in the garage and decided to grow them.

A Home Depot employee reported to her manager and Milton police that she was being stalked by a man for a year. The suspect sought her out at the home improvement store twice a week, asking her for her phone number and even giving her his number.
The victim reported him to her manager on April 17 when things got worse. When she arrived at the store before 9 a.m., she saw the suspect already was in the parking lot. When she entered the store, he entered it through another door. He came up to her and talked to her.
She left the Home Depot shortly after that to head to the Chick-fil-A. But she said he followed her there, and continued to follow her as she drove north on GA 9. When they reached Bethany Bend, he pulled into the left turn lane beside her car and again tried to talk to her. She quickly pulled into the right turn lane and drove away, heading back to the Home Depot where she reported it to her manager.
Not long after that, the manager spotted the suspect looking around the store, and he confronted the man. The manager plans to file a criminal trespass warrant the next time the suspect comes to the store. Police advised the victim to file for a temporary protective order.
Dad Reports Daughter Victim of Harassing Texts
A father reported to Milton police on April 16 that his daughter was the victim of harassing text messages. When an officer began to investigate the complaint, it was discovered the texts were attempts to entice a child under 14 years old for indecent purposes, a felony offense.
The case was turned over to the Milton Criminal Investigation Division.
