Milton Parks & Rec Plan Public Comment Meeting
Residents are encouraged to review the plans and go to the Thursday meeting to share thoughts.
From The City of Milton: Following a comprehensive planning process that began in 2017, the City of Milton has a final draft of the 2027 Parks and Recreation Master Plan available for review. Residents are encouraged to review this comprehensive plan and offer comments and feedback via email, or during the public comment period of the upcoming Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB) meeting on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at Milton City Hall. Following the PRAB review process:
- Prior to the initial presentation to the Milton City Council, which is tentatively scheduled for the Monday, March 11 City Council work session, our consultants and city staff will work to incorporate public feedback accordingly.
- Following the Council discussion during the March 11 work session, consultants and staff will again work to incorporate feedback accordingly.
- Once a final draft has been prepared, the 2027 Parks and Recreation Master Plan will then be scheduled for final review and consideration by the Council during a regularly scheduled meeting. Communications will share this date when it becomes available as part of regularly scheduled Council updates and agenda preview emails.
