Milton Steelers to Host Tackle, Flag Football Registration

The Milton Steelers will host flag football registration and assessment next week at Friendship Community Park.

The event will take place from 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 at the park, which is at 12785 Birmingham Highway in Milton. Registration and assessments will be for tackle (reserved for rising second- to fifth-grade students) and flag (reserved for rising kindergarten through fifth-graders) will start at 4 p.m., and athletes are advised to wear cleats.

Players who are registered with Milton Steelers will have a chance to have a football autographed by Jerome “The Bus” Bettis, the 2015 NFL Hall of Fame inductee. Athletes are advised to bring their own football for this opportunity.
