Milton Summer Nights Return July 28

The event is organized by the Milton Touchdown Club, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for the Milton Eagles football team.

MILTON, GA -- The community is invited to Milton Summer Nights on Friday, July 28 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Little River Farms (14505 Batesville Road) in Milton. The party will feature popular local band Canton Street (formerly 3rd Party), well-known as the Friday night band at Pasti’s in historic downtown Roswell for many years.

While the dance floor is expected to be one of the highlights of the evening, guests will enjoy small plates from a variety of top local restaurants, including Ceviche Taqueria & Margarita Bar, ‘Cue Barbecue, Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub, Pure Taqueria, Your Pie Express Your Inner Pizza, with dessert by Da Vinci’s Donuts. There will be an open bar for beer and wine, and a cash bar for liquor.

Milton Summer Nights sold out in 2016 at the Atlanta National Golf Club and has moved to the 5,000 square foot, brand new pavillion at picturesque Little River Farms, a family-owned, 80-acre property with loads of history and charm. Located at the corner of Batesville and Taylor Roads, the rustic, elegant venue is air-conditioned.

The event is presented by the Milton Touchdown Club, a 501c3 non-profit organization, and will feature a low-key silent auction. All proceeds from the event will benefit Milton High School Football, one of the top-ranked AAAAAAA football programs in the state of Georgia.

“Other than Friday night home games in the fall, Milton Summer Nights is Milton High School Football’s biggest event of the year,” said Adam Clack, head coach for Milton Eagles Football. “It’s a night for all of Milton to come out and celebrate the end of summer and enjoy some great food and drink. And yes, there may be just a little football talk amongst some of our guests, but it’s really all about a fun night for the entire community.”

More than six players on Milton’s 2017 team have offers from Division 1 colleges, with the Eagles dominating perennial powerhouse Brookwood in the annual spring game. Milton won both appearances in 7 on 7 tournaments against metro-Atlanta area schools this summer.

Colby Leonard, president of the Milton Touchdown Club, said, “A strong football team is the pride of any community, and the Eagles are ready to take it to the next level of competition under Coach Clack this fall. More than for football fans, we are excited to offer this event to the Milton community. We invite everyone to come out and party with your friends and neighbors for a great cause.”

Guests at Milton Summer Nights will have the opportunity to bid in the silent auction for vacation stays, golf, tutoring, reserved student parking spaces at Milton High School, reserved seats at commencements, and a variety of other themed items including tailgate parties, fitness, spa and décor.
