Milton Teen Attacked Walking Home from Work

An 18-year-old Milton man who was walking home from his job at Roasters on Aug. 8 reports that he was attacked by at least four males.

The victim walked north on GA 9 and then east on Webb Road, entering the Deerfield Green subdivision on Fieldview Lane. As he walked through the subdivision, he heard noises in the bushes before three men attacked him from behind and the other from the bushes, according to a Milton police incident report.

He believes he was punched in the side of his face and then fell to the ground. Once on the ground he was punched and kicked, passing out as he was beaten. As he regained consciousness, he saw the suspects leaving. One ran toward Morris Lake subdivision and two others toward Orion Apartments.

He told Milton police that those three suspects had black or blue bandannas. He didn't recognize their voices and never got a good look at them.

He finally made it home at 9:01 p.m., showing swelling to the left side of his face and bruising to his ribs. Rural Metro Ambulance and Alpharetta Fire assessed his injuries. His mother planned to take him to the hospital emergency room.
