Milton Tour of Homes Announces Benefiting Charities

Three local charities will benefit this year, including Meals By Grace, The Will to Live Foundation and Milton First Responders Foundation.

MILTON, GA — Southern Magnolia Charities, a 501(c)3 organization, has announced this year's three beneficiaries, for its annual Milton Tour of Homes, to take place on October 26. This year's beneficiaries include:

  • Meal by Grace, who is in partnership with local schools who children in need and seek to feed and serve their families
  • The Will to Live Foundation, who is dedicated to preventing teen suicide by improving the lives and "Will to Live" of teenagers everywhere through education about mental health and encourages them to recognize the love and hope that exist in each other
  • Milton First Responders Foundation, who work to strengthen the partnership between the citizens and police and firefighters by providing emergency resources to those who make the city of Milton a safe place to live, work and visit.

Southern Magnolia Charities President, Marsha Spear said, "We are honored to serve the
community of Northern Georgia and are blessed to have so many wonderful and effective
charitable organizations in our community. These organizations enhance the lives of all our citizens through their dedication and commitment. We are pleased to recognize this year's charities to receive the proceeds from the 2019 Tour of Homes."

Sponsorships are due no later than August 30. All individual and business sponsors are eligible to receive benefits at each level, including but not limited to the opportunity to purchase

The secret to living is giving. This idea spawned the initiation of Southern Magnolia Charities in 2018, and they have proven successful. Last year they raised $42,000 for that year's chosen charities and this year are hoping to build upon that success.
