Milton Track Teams Perform Well at Roswell 8-Way Invite
Milton HS opened up their season as Roswell played host to eight of the strongest track programs in the state

Congratulations to the Milton Track & Field team for it's strong finish at the Roswell 8-Way Invitational
this past Saturday!
The boy's team finished 2nd to Marietta (148 pts-112 pts) and the girls were 7th (54.5 pts).

Team wins on the girls side came from the 4x1600m relay (22:46.80) which is the fastest time in the state this season and the 8th fastest in school history!
Senior Brooke Aumer, junior Jessie Barnes, sophomore Taylor Cushman & freshman Abby Rindt made up the squad. The girls also got a win in the Distance Medley Relay (13:21.54) which included
Aumer & Rindt along with junior Emily Bowers & freshman Faith Bobak. The mark was the 3rd best in school history!
On the boys side victories came from Matthew Mazzacano in the pole vault (12 feet tying the 9th best vault in school history), junior Nicholas Yanek in the 1600m (4:28.86) & the Distance Medley Relay (10:50.73) also the 3rd-best in school history & fastest time in the state this season! The relay team consisted of Yanek, junior Michael Malkowski, senior Jake Vernon & state cross country champion junior Sam Bowers.
The Eagles host their annual 2-Day Showcase Meet this Friday & Saturday, March 3rd & 4th as some of the top-track programs from the state will battle the home Milton Eagles!
