Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails Falls Into the Season with New Menu Items

Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails invites diners to enjoy tastes of the fall season with fresh ingredients from the restaurant’s very own garden, Milton’s Acre. The restaurant, located in Historic Crabapple, is updating its fall menu with new, seasonal items on Wednesday, October 9.

“It’s always fun getting to switch it up a little and work with seasonal produce from our garden,” said executive chef Derek Dollar. “I love adding new dishes to the menu because I think it’s important to give our guests a variety of choices.”

Nightly chef’s specials feature fresh-from-the-garden ingredients and daily dishes include Milton’s Acre items when available. Inspired by the season, the new menu items include:

·         Baby kale salad with crumbled blue cheese, candied pecans, dried cranberries, red onion and honey-cider vinaigrette

·         Herb-marinated plantation quail breast with apple butter, roasted parsnips, smoked bacon, toasted pecans and pomegranate molasses

·         Gorgonzola, country ham and rosemary fritters with bourbon peach jam

·         Applewood smoked pork shank, smoked Gouda and bacon grits, wilted mustard greens and green apple mignonette

Milton’s classic dishes like Charleston crab bisque, sweet potato shrimp fritters, Southern fried chicken, shrimp and grits, sesame-crusted mountain trout, espresso-rubbed pork loin and warm carrot cake remain on the menu.
