Milton junior Farrah Frith won the 3200m race at the Atlanta Track Club's annual Wingfoot Meet of Champions (an all-star meet made up of the state of Georgia's overall winners from all classifications and the top-performers during the season) in dramatic fashion last night at GA Tech's Griffin Track by taking the lead with less than 150m remaining while besting 3 state champions and 3 of the girls that had beat her at the 7A state meet a week ago! She improved on her 3rd-best school performance to break 11-minutes for the first time at 3200 meters (10:59.35). Farrah is the first Milton athlete to win a title at this prestigious meet to conclude the track season for the Lady Eagles!
Also competing in the meet were junior Devin Dahunsi was 6th in the long jump (21'2") & 10th in the triple jump (44'9.25") & senior Andrew Dassler in the pole vault (NH).
