As an only child growing up and surrounded by adoring, aunts, uncles, grand parents , and of course loving parents, I learned early on to respect my elders, to listen and learn from them.
Well, now it turns out I am activities director for a 55+ community, Parc Alpharetta, a Waterton Residential Community. Our residents are intelligent, caring, and loving.
The recent and seemingly unending violence and senseless acts, have reinforced our belief that mental health should rank high on a list of priorities. We have felt strongly that our youth need as much care as can be provided.

That is the main reason that we are once more supporting the Grady Foundation Act Team. We will be having our annual bazaar and fund raising event on Saturday November 8. . Our doors will once again be open to the public. We will gladly accept donations made out to the Grady Foundation Act Team, at any time prior to the event.
And a reminder, listen to your elders. WE KNOW what can benefit our society.
