NCL, Inc. Milton Chapter's Seniors Recognized for Achievement
NCL Milton Chapter's Founding Senior Class Exceeds 5,000 Volunteer Service Hours with their Work in 19 of their Partnered Philanthropies

MILTON, GA (February 26, 2018)– National Charity League, Inc., Milton Chapter (NCL, Inc.),
On February 24th, the NCL Milton Chapter presented the 2018 graduating seniors at the formal Senior Recognition Event held at the Manor Golf and Country Club. The event was a dinner and dance that was preceded by each of the seniors being recognized for their accomplishments and contributions to the NCL Milton Chapter and the community. The young ladies are students graduating from Blessed Trinity High School, Cambridge High School, Centennial High School, Johns Creek High School, Milton High School, Roswell High School, and Wesleyan School.

“This group of young women, the Class of 2018, and their mothers are particularly special to our Chapter,” said Melissa Linscott, Chapter President. “They are the first in our Milton Chapter history to complete the entire six-year experience.”

The Class of 2018 has been committed to the National Charity League, Inc. philanthropies since the inception of the Milton Chapter in 2012. They’ve collectively served 5,022 community service hours through their six-year program. The local partnered philanthropies served during the six years include Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, Brookdale Senior Living Solutions, City of Milton, Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System, DreamWeavers of Georgia, Erin’s Hope for Friends, Foster Care Support Foundation, HomeStretch, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Georgia Chapter, Meals By Grace, North Metro Miracle League, Rally Foundation, Ruff Dog Rescue, STAR House Foundation, Act Together Ministries, Save The Horses, United Way of Greater Atlanta, and The Drake House. Over the course of the six-year program, these seniors have made a positive impact on the community and created memories that will last a lifetime.

National Charity League, Inc., Milton Chapter currently has over 250 Members and provides hands-on volunteer service for 16 philanthropic organizations in the community. Members are women and their daughters, grades 7-12. Through this community service, NCL, Inc. develops socially responsible community leaders and strengthens the mother-daughter relationship. The traditional Six-Year Core Program also includes leadership development and cultural experiences. Mother-daughter teams nationwide are responsible, dedicated, skilled volunteers actively engaged in local community work in 26 states across the country.
