Nearby: Police Seek Suspect Who Robbed Stores at Gunpoint

Sheriff’s deputies in nearby Forsyth County is asking the public to help them identify and locate a suspect captured on surveillance camera robbing two convenience stores at gunpoint.

Security camera footage caught the man robbing the RaceTrac on McFarland Parkway in unincorporated Alpharetta on Oct. 7.

On Nov. 5, the man robbed the nearby Chevron. On both cameras, the suspect is seen brandishing a handgun at store employees.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, is between 5’7” to 5’11” tall and weighs between 140 and 170 pounds.

In the video, he’s shown wearing a green Nike track jacket with white lettering on the back, dark track pants, black tennis shoes and a black beanie or toboggan.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to send a direct message to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office via Facebook.
