New Baseball Covered Pavilion Installed At Wills Park

The pavilion has eight batting cages, two pitching lanes, an open warm-up area and energy-efficient LED lighting.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- If you're having to deal with a rainy day at Wills Park, the city of Alpharetta now has you covered with a new 6,300-square-foot baseball pavilion.

The pavilion includes eight batting cages, two pitching lanes, an open warm-up area and energy-efficient LED lighting.

Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association, in partnership with the Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department, hosted a grand opening celebration June 17 of the new structure. The park was buzzing with excitement from players, as representatives from the association and the city officially cut the ribbon to open the new pavilion.
