ALPHARETTA, GA -- The Greater Alpharetta Tech Network, a nonprofit association whose mission is to foster community and connection among the area's 900-plus technology companies, has announced the appointment of GATN’s new officers for 2017.

GATN has named Amy Hill, vice president of Scientific Games, as its new president for 2017. Hill, whose tenure begins Jan. 1, will take over for GATN's founder and outgoing President Karen Cashion, who announced this fall her intention to retire as president at the end of the 2016.

Cashion, who has been named chairman of GATN, will be managing the transition and provide support to Hill as she assumes her new role.
