New Restaurants, Shops, Office Tower Coming To Avalon

ALPHARETTA, GA -- Avalon, the popular mixed-used development situated along Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta, is preparing to expand its footprint in north Fulton County.

Avalon is set to double in size this April, bringing eight new restaurants, twelve new retailers, 276 luxury multifamily residences and a 224,000-square-foot Class A office tower to the Alpharetta community.

To celebrate this achievement, Savor & Celebrate, an evening of "culinary elegance" under the stars, will be held April 12. Tickets to this exclusive, black-tie event will benefit the City of Refuge, a local charitable organization.

Avalon’s expansion will officially open to the public on April 13 with a ribbon cutting and street festival filled with entertainment, fashion vignettes and more celebrations throughout the day.

However, Savor & Celebrate will give guests the premier opportunity to experience Avalon’s excellent culinary line up and new fashion retailers and toast to the expansion with an unforgettable evening before the official opening.

Guests will also enjoy an exclusive preview of The Hotel at Avalon, opening in January 2018, with a high-tech virtual reality experience, the unveiling of the hotel’s yet-to-be-announced chef-driven restaurant and a one-of-a-kind glass box viewing truck showcasing the staging of a suite.

Savor & Celebrate will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. on Avalon Boulevard. Guests will dine and sip on delicious fare and handcrafted beverages from Avalon’s exciting new dining options like MF Bar and Brine Fish House, as well as live entertainment from The Equinox Orchestra and Blair Crimmins.

Retailers and restaurants opening in Avalon’s expansion include Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Brooks Brothers, Urban Outfitters, Rumi’s Kitchen, Barleygarden Craft Kitchen and Bar, Boogaloos, Scout & Molly’s, Chick-Fil-A, Hammer Made, The Boardroom Salon for Men, Lucky Brand, Levi’s, MF Bar, District III, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, South Moon Under and Brine Fish House.

Tickets for Savor & Celebrate are available now for $250 per person or $400 per couple. All proceeds will benefit City of Refuge, an organization that transforms the lives of people in Atlanta’s most impoverished communities by equipping them with the tools to succeed.
