Noon To Night Fashion Show At Avalon Raises More Than $52,000
The hottest looks of the season were featured in the show and included stylish outfits from 30 of Avalon's best-in-class retailers.
From Avalon: Last Thursday, Avalon transformed the Boulevard into a blue-carpeted runway for its third annual Noon to Night fashion show and raised more than $52,000 for Bert’s Big Adventure. Noon to Night drew a crowd of over 550 fashionistas and was hosted by Bert Weiss and Kristen Klingshirn of The Bert Show along with Christi Paul from HLN. Bert’s kids spent the day being pampered by The Cosmetic Market and Van Michael Salon as they prepared for their big debut on the catwalk in the center of the “urbanburb” in Alpharetta.
“Bert’s Big Adventure is a truly life-changing organization that we are thrilled to partner with to give these children a chance to just be a kid for one night while strutting their stuff in the annual Noon to Night fashion show,” said Carla Cox, director of marketing for Avalon. “It is an extremely humbling experience to host this exciting event each year and to grant these kids the opportunity to be treated like glamourous models and raise tens of thousands of dollars for Bert’s Big Adventure programs.”
The hottest looks of the season were featured in the show and included stylish outfits from more than 30 of Avalon’s best-in-class retailers while delicious bites were served from seven of Avalon’s famous chef-driven concepts. The exclusive event featured chronically and terminally ill children from Bert’s Big Adventure modeling alongside local celebrities and 100 percent of the proceeds were donated directly to the local nonprofit. This year’s Noon to Night offered a slightly different setting at Avalon than in years past, since Boulevard East, the expansion of the development that opened in April and doubled the size of the mixed-use community, allowed the fabulous runway to be even longer.
