Fulton Golden Games Return in April

Alpharetta residents do not want to miss their chance to participate in the 2015 Fulton Golden Games.

Registration is due by March 24 for this fun-filled, friendly competition, which promotes healthy, active lifestyles for citizens age 50 and older.

The event is held in late April through May and is offered in partnership between the cities of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Roswell, Sandy Springs and Fulton County Human Services.

Opening ceremonies and kick-off field events will be hosted by the city at the Alpharetta Community Center at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 29. The community center is at 175 Roswell Street.

Activities include swimming, bocce ball, tennis, golf, pickle ball, field day events, bowling, billiards, rock climbing and more. Try out a virtual bicycle 5K or a treadmill-recumbent bike biathlon. New activities for 2015 include canasta and trivia tournaments!
