Obituary: Mabel Biers Morgan
Ms. Morgan was a devout Catholic and a Brooklyn, New York native.

Mabel Biers Morgan of Alpharetta passed away on Tuesday July 16.
She was born February 18, 1918, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late John and Mabel Biers.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Leslie P. Morgan. She is also preceded in death by a brother, John Biers and two sisters, Marie Dooley and Dorothy Weeden.
She was a devout Catholic who loved the Church and was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Ashburn, Virginia where she lived for over 12 years. She was active in St. Theresa's senior's group and was also a member of the "Red Hats". She was an avid reader and loved music.
She is survived by her two sons, Robert Morgan of Sparks, Nevada along with his wife, Debbie, and Douglas Morgan of Alpharetta, Georgia along with his wife, Sherri. In addition to her sons, she is survived by her three grandchildren, Colleen Morgan, Robert Morgan and Kelsey Morgan, and two great grandchildren, Amaya Daniel and Wyatt Morgan. She was dearly loved by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was held last Wednesday, Aug. 14 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Ashburn, Virginia. She was buried at Arlington National Cemetery, in Washington, D.C..
